SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE 
1 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. lemon extract or lemon juice
Dash of salt
1 baked rich crust

Cook the raisins until tender, drain. Mix 1 1/2 cup sour cream and 1 1/2 level tablespoons flour and the sugar. Cook until thick. Add raisins and 3 beaten egg yolks, flavor with lemon extract or lemon juice. Bake in rich crust (already baked). Cover with meringue and brown.

MERINGUE:

In a small bowl with mixer on high, beat egg whites until foamy. Add 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar. Gradually add 1/3 cup sugar. Continue beating until stiff peaks form. Flavor with vanilla or lemon. Brown in 350 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until light tan. Cool.
