CLEAR RAISIN PIE 
2 c. raisins
1 c. sugar
2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. lemon juice
4 tbsp. flour or 2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. butter

Cook raisins, sugar, water, salt and butter for 5 minutes. Dissolve cornstarch in 3 tablespoons cold water. Add to raisin mixture and cook 5 minutes. Remove from fire and add lemon juice. Pour into unbaked pastry. Strip top. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
