RAISIN PIE 
2 3/4 c. water
1 (1 lb.) box Sun Maid raisins (seedless or seeded)
1 stick cinnamon
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. dark Karo molasses
2 tsp. cider vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cloves

Combine and simmer all of above for 15 minutes. Remove cinnamon stick. Combine 6 tablespoons sugar; 2 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch. Add gradually to raisin mixture, stirring constantly. Cook until thick, 10 minutes. Pour into pastry lined pie pan. Place pastry strips over top lattice fashion. Bake in very hot oven 450 degrees for 25 minutes.
