CORN BREAD LOAF 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. melted butter

In mixing bowl, mix together all dry ingredients. In a small bowl, beat eggs; add milk and melted butter. Add liquid to dry ingredients, mixing just until blended. Pour into greased 8 1/2 x 4 - 1/2 x 2 - 1/2 inch loaf pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan, then turn out onto rack. Serve warm with butter.
