DILLY CASSEROLE BREAD (ONE LOAF) | |
1 pkg. yeast 1/4 c. warm water 1 c. creamed cottage cheese 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. instant minced onions 2 tsp. dill seed 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 egg 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. all purpose flour Dissolve yeast in water, heat cottage cheese to lukewarm. Combine. Add all other ingredients except flour to yeast and cheese mixture. Then add flour, dough will be stiff. Cover and let rise until double, stir down, turn into a well greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish and let rise 30 to 40 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes, brush top with butter and sprinkle with salt. |
