BUTTER TARTS 
2 eggs
2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk or water
2 c. raisins, chopped dates, currants, and nuts
Pastry

Beat eggs, add sugar, butter, vanilla, fruit and milk or water. Line tart tins with uncooked pastry, place a teaspoon of mixture in each and bake in hot oven, 450 degrees for 9 to 10 minutes.
