BUTTER TARTS 
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. currants
1/2 c. melted butter
1 egg, beaten

In saucepan, melt butter. Add beaten egg, brown sugar and currants. Line small tart tins with pastry. Fill 2/3 full with butter mixture and bake in 350 degree until mixture is cooked, about 30-35 minutes.
