SALISBURY STEAK 
2 cans Campbell's beefy mushroom soup
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. finely chopped onions
1/4 c. water
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/8 tsp. pepper

Mix 1/4 cup soup with all other ingredients, except water, mixing thoroughly. Shape into patties. In a skillet, brown patties, using shortening if needed. Drain off fat, stirring soup and water. Cover and cook over low heat, for about 20 minutes or until done. Stir occasionally. Great when accompanied with rice.
