CREOLE CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. sour milk (sweet milk with some lemon juice or vinegar added will work)

Mix ingredients well and add 1 cup boiling water and 1 teaspoon baking soda. Bake at 350 degrees for 28-33 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

CREOLE CAKE ICING:

1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 c. chopped nuts
