MEAT BALLS | |
1 egg 1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. onion, chopped 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/4 c. cornmeal 1/2 c. milk 2 tbsp. fat for frying meat balls 2 c. well-seasoned tomato juice Mix all ingredients except fat and tomato juice. Shape into balls and roll in flour and brown in fat. When all the meat balls are brown, pour the tomato juice over them and simmer for 45 minutes. |
