PECAN WAFFLES 
2 c. sifted flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk
5 tbsp. salad oil
1 c. chopped pecans

Beat eggs in mixing bowl. Add flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and nuts. Beat only until mixed. Stir in salad oil. Mixture should be fairly thick.

Pour into prepared waffle iron, sprinkle liberally with chopped pecans. Cook until browned. Serve with honey and/or heated maple syrup. (Good also served with pork sausage.)

If using self-rising flour, omit baking powder and salt.
