POLLY'S PIE 
3 lg. egg whites
1 c. sugar
14 soda crackers, crushed
1 c. nuts (pecan)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry, slowly. Add sugar and baking powder. Stir in crushed crackers and nuts. Pour into well-greased pie pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with finely chopped nuts.
