BUTTERMILK PANCAKES WITH A TWIST 
1 cup all purpose flour
2/3 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup wheat germ
2 tbsp butter (melted)
2 cups buttermilk (can substitute 2 cups milk plus 2 tbsp lemon juice)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 eggs
1 and 1/2 tsp baking soda

Combine lemon juice and milk if using substitute, set aside. Combine all dry ingredients and add melted butter, buttermilk or substitution and eggs, mix well. Prepare like normal pancakes. These taste amazing, my family won't eat any other pancakes now.
