APPETIZER HAM BALLS | |
1 lb. ground cooked ham 1/2 lb. lean ground pork 1 c. soft bread crumbs 1/3 c. milk 2 tbsp. chopped green onions 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 (12 oz.) jar chili sauce 1 (#10) jar peach preserves Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine ham, pork, bread crumbs, milk, onions, mustard and egg; mix well. Form into one inch balls. Place in ungreased 15 x 10 inch baking pan. Bake for 25 or 30 minutes or until light brown. In large saucepan, combine chili sauce and preserves. Add ham balls; simmer 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes 36 ham balls. |
