CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
2 cans sweet potatoes in heavy syrup
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

Drain sweet potatoes reserving cup of the syrup. In large skillet heat brown sugar, butter, orange rind, cinnamon and reserved syrup to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened about 1 minute. Add sweet potatoes heat through, gently stirring to coat potatoes with glaze.
