GARLIC OKRA PICKLES 
3 lbs. uncut fresh okra (3 to 4 inches)
3 c. water
1 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. pickling salt
2 cloves garlic, crushed

Wash okra well. Drain and pack into hot clean pint jars. In saucepan, combine water, vinegar, salt and garlic. Bring to boiling; pour into jars to within 1/2 inch of tops. Adjust lids. Process in boiling water bath 5 minutes (start counting time when water starts boiling). Makes 4 pints.
