OKRA PICKLES | |
1 qt. okra 1 each red and green hot peppers 1/2 tsp. dill seed 1 garlic cloves 1 qt. white vinegar 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. salt Soak okra in ice water 4 or 5 hours before making pickle. Pack okra in hot sterile quart jar. Place peppers, dill seed, and garlic on top of okra. Pour hot mixture of vinegar, sugar, and salt over okra. Seal jar. Store in cool dry place. |
