HOLIDAY BUTTER COOKIES 
12 egg yolks
2 c. sugar
1 lb. (2 c.) butter, softened
2 tsp. vanilla
6 c. flour

Cream butter; add sugar, vanilla and egg yolks. Mix and let stand a few hours in refrigerator. Cut in shapes with your various holiday cookie cutters. Bake at 325 degrees approximately 10 minutes.

Sprinkle with cookie decorations or frost with confectioners' sugar icing after baking - when cool.
