HOT LETTUCE 
1 head lettuce
1 sm. onion
1 lb. bacon
1/2 c. vinegar
4 c. water
4 eggs
Dash of salt
Dash of black pepper
3 tbsp. (heaping) flour

Dice bacon and fry in medium skillet. Drain all but 2 tablespoons of grease off. Add 3 heaping tablespoons of flour. Mix with bacon and grease.

In mixing bowl mix together vinegar, water, eggs, salt and pepper. Pour into bacon and flour stir until well mixed. Cook over medium heat until it thickens. Pour over broken lettuce and diced onion.
