PEANUT BUTTER FINGERS 
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter (creamy)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix well. Chill 1 hour.

Using cookie press with star plate, make 2 1/2 inch fingers. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 375 degrees.

When cool dip ends in melted chocolate (4 small Hershey bars or milk chocolate chips) then in 3/4 cup crushed salted peanuts.
