CORNED BEEF SPECIAL (4TH OF
JULY)
 
2 lg. onions, finely chopped
2 tbsp. bacon grease
1 can corned beef, broken into pieces
1 lg. can tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute onions in bacon grease until tender; do not brown. Add corned beef and tomatoes; mix well. Simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper. May be served on slice of bread.
