OATMEAL SCOTCHIES | |
1 c. all purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. butter, softened 3/4 c. sugar 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla extract 3 c. oats, uncooked (quick or old fashioned) 1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored morsels Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract; beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats and butterscotch flavored morsels. Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes for chewier cookies; 9 to 10 minutes for crisper cookies. Makes about four dozen 3" cookies. |
