BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2-1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Sift together dry ingredients. Combine butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla. Fold in dry ingredients. Spread in well greased (9 x 13 inch) pan. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cut while warm.
