BUTTERSCOTCH BREAD 
2 c. light brown sugar
3 tbsp. melted butter
4 c. sifted flour
2 c. sour milk (add 2 tbsp. vinegar to 2 c. milk)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs

This works best mixed by hand in a big bowl. Make one day ahead and store in a plastic bag.

Beat eggs; add brown sugar and butter. Alternate dry ingredients and sour milk. Pour in greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on size of pans.

Great served toasted with cream cheese.
