CHOCOLATE INDIANS 
1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. flour
2 sqs. unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
Chopped nuts

Cream shortening and sugar together. Add beaten eggs, salt, and flour. Add melted chocolate and vanilla; mix well. Divide in half and spread evenly in 2 jelly roll pans. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes. Cut in squares and remove immediately from pan. Store in air-tight tin. Can be frozen.
