2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
Vanilla
5 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Beat first 4 ingredients. Add 1/2 of flour; put baking powder and baking soda on top of flour and swish around a little before touching batter, then mix well. Add milk; mix again, then rest of flour.

These are also good for making orange cookies. Add juice and rind of 2 oranges and then frost. Also add juice and rind to 1 orange to frosting.
