LIGHT 'N SPICY PASTA SAUCE 
Pasta to serve 4-6 persons
1 lb. ground turkey
3 (15 oz.) cans of salt-free whole tomatoes (Hunts)
1 tbsp. Tabasco sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1 (4.5 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained

Cook pasta to desired degree of doneness as directed on package. Drain; rinse with hot water. Keep warm. Set aside.

Brown the ground turkey on medium high in 2 quart saucepan. Whirl tomatoes for 10 seconds in food processor or blender. Add tomatoes, Tabasco sauce, chili powder, and mushrooms to meat. Stir well, reduce heat to medium low. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over pasta. Low-sodium and low-cholesterol; added benefit of quick and easy preparation.
