BAKED NUT BALLS 
2 c. light brown sugar
2 sticks butter
2 boxes chopped dates
1 sm. can coconut
2 c. chopped pecans
3 c. Rice Krispies
1 tsp. vanilla
Confectioners sugar

Put butter in large saucepan and melt; pour in sugar and stir. Add dates and stir; simmer for 6 minutes. Add coconut, pecans, Rice Krispies, and vanilla; stir well.

Make into walnut-size balls and roll in confectioners sugar. Store in cool dry place.
