JOAN'S PUMPKIN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. each cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon
1 2/3 c. flour
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. water
1 c. canned pumpkin
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chopped dates

Sift dry ingredients together. Place in bowl and add remaining ingredients in order given, mixing well.

Grease a 9x5x3 loaf pan and bake from 75 to 90 minutes at 325 degrees until bread pulls away from sides.
