ARROZ CON LECHE 
1/2 c. white rice, uncooked
1/2 cinnamon stick
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. sweetened condensed milk
2 1/2 tbsp. raisins
Cinnamon for garnish

1. Put rice, cinnamon stick, and water in a saucepan. Bring to a quick boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until water is absorbed (15 minutes).

2. Add milk and raisins. Cook uncovered until milk works into rice (10 to 15 minutes).

3. Remove from heat, take out cinnamon stick and cover. Let sit for a few minutes. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

4. Serve hot or cold.

This recipe is a good one, my only advice would be to double the amount of water you start with because the rice soaks it up way too fast. Also add some regular milk in with the condensed stuff and only use half a can, or else it is too sweet.

Pretty yummy but too sweet. Its actually pretty similar to my great grandmas but instead of the cup of condensed milk a half and the other half coconut milk is added.

Its better to use condensed Mexican sweet milk and also some nutmeg. Also you may rather add like almonds or pecans to make it a crunchy sweet treat.
