PEACH CONSERVE 
18 med. ripe peaches
2 lg. oranges
1 c. sugar for every c. of fruit

(Less sugar may be used, if desired.) Peel fruit and slice peaches. Cut up very fine or put through food grinder. Wash oranges. Cut in half and remove seeds. Put through food grinder, rind and all. Combine with fruit. Mix well, measure and add sugar. Let stand several hours. Boil rapidly until thick and clear (about 15 minutes), stirring constantly. Pour into sterile jars. Seal with paraffin and lids.
