FIRST LAYER:

1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, melted
1 egg
1 c. chopped pecans

SECOND LAYER:

1 box powdered sugar
2 eggs
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix dry cake mix and egg, butter and chopped nuts together. Press into ungreased 9"x13" pan. Combine the second layer ingredients in order and beat with mixer. Pour over cake mixture. Bake about 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Top will have a crust; it will seem like it is not done inside, but it will be. Cool. Cut into squares and serve.
