CANDY PRALINES 
1 lb. light brown sugar
Few grains salt
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1 tbsp. butter
2 c. pecan halves

Mix sugar, salt and butter in saucepan. Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Add pecans and cook to soft ball stage. Let cool 5 minutes. Beat until mixture begins to thicken and coat nuts. Drop by teaspoon to form small patties.
