1 jar Prego Spaghetti Sauce, 48 oz. (3 lbs.) 1 box Mueller's lg. elbow macaroni, 16 oz. 1 can tomatoes, 16 oz. (1 lb.) Ground beef, 3 lbs. Salt to taste Dash of black pepper Put ground beef in pot. Cook until meat is done. Put spaghetti sauce in and tomatoes. Put on 5 to 6 quarts water in another pot. Bring to rapid boil. Add salt, a teaspoon. Add macaroni; boil uncovered, stirring occasionally. Cook 9 to 12 minutes or until tender. While simmering meat sauce and tomatoes, drain noodles and add them in salt to taste, a dash of black pepper. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes slow. |
