SWEET AND SAVORY CHICKEN 
3-4 lbs. chicken parts (wings, thighs, or breasts, etc.)
1 (8 oz.) jar French dressing
1 (10 oz.) jar apricot or peach preserves
1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Place chicken parts in 9x13 inch baking pan. Mix French dressing, jar of apricot or peach preserves and onion soup. Spoon about half of the mixture over the chicken, bake for 1/2 hour and then spoon more mixture over chicken, bake for 15 minutes more and then baste again with remaining mixture or with the sauce that is in the baking pan. Bake an additional 15 minutes or until chicken is done.
