APPLE PIE AND CRUST RECIPES 
4 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. water
1 egg
1 tbsp. vinegar

Mix first 4 ingredients together well and crumble. Make a hole with the above mixture and add water, egg, and vinegar. Flour board and roll out crust.

Makes 3 pies. Can store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.

PIE:

6 c. sliced apples (Early Harvest best)
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. to 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg

Mix all ingredients together and place in pie crust. Dot with butter after applying top crust. Prick with fork and bake in a preheated 375°F oven for approximately 1 hour.
