HOT OR COLD FUDGE SAUCE 
1/4 c. butter
2 squares semi-sweet chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. evaporated milk

Heat butter and chocolate over very low heat until melted. Stir in salt and sugar gradually, blending well. Slowly stir in milk. Simmer 5 or 6 minutes or until thick. Stir frequently. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Pour into glass jar with tight-fitting lid.
