NANCY'S SPECIAL STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS | |
4 med. sized green peppers 1 lb. ground beef 1 med. onion (chopped) 1/3 c. cooked rice 1/2 c. Heinz 57 sauce 1/4 c. ketchup Slice stem ends from peppers, cut peppers in half lengthwise and scoop out seeds. Blanch in boiling, salted water for 5 minutes; then drain well. Combine ground beef and remaining ingredients and stuff peppers. Arrange in a greased baking dish and top with extra 57 sauce if desired. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until meat is cooked. Makes 4 servings. |
