1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. molasses
1 tsp. vanilla
5 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. nuts, chopped

Cream together first 6 ingredients. Add flour, soda, nuts. Shape into 4 rolls and refrigerate in waxed paper. Cut 1/4 inch slices and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
