RICH CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
21 oz. can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract (optional)
3 eggs

In a mixing bowl, by hand, with a fork, mix eggs, extract and cake mix. Add pie filling and stir. Your batter will be very thick. Put in a greased 9 x 13 inch cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

LUSCIOUS TOPPING:

1 c. granulated sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
6 oz. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)

In a small saucepan combine sugar, butter and milk. Heat to boiling and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate pieces. Pour over cake when it comes out of the oven. Cool. Enjoy!
