8 eggs Sliced white bread, crusts cut off 1 lb. mild sausage 2 c. milk Velveeta cheese 1 tsp. dry mustard Softened butter Brown sausage and drain. Cover bottom of 9"x13" glass dish with slices of buttered bread close together, buttered side down. Sprinkle sausage on top of bread. Place thick slices of Velveeta cheese on top of sausage. Beat eggs, milk and mustard together. Pour over cheese. Top with more buttered bread, buttered side up. Best if refrigerated at least a day. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, uncovered. Let stand about 15 minutes before slicing. |
