3 qts. (12 c.) water 1 tbsp. salt 1 lg. onion 2 tomatoes 1 green pepper 1 sweet chili pepper 3 fresh cilantro 2 fresh ears of corn 1/2 c. tomato sauce B: 1 lb. lean beef 1/2 lb. lean pork bone C: 1/2 lb. gautia 1/2 lb. yuca 1/2 lb. squash 1/2 lb. potatoes 1/2 lb. name 1/2 lb. carrots In a large 12 quart kettle, combine ingredients included in A. Bring rapidly to a boil. Clean and wash meats. Cut into 1 inch cubes. Add meats to kettle. Cover; reduce heat to moderate and cook for 1 hour. Wash vegetables included in C and add to kettle. Cover and cook over moderate heat for 45 minutes. Most of these vegetables are found in major food stores. |
