SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 1/2 c. onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, diced
1/2 c. oil
7 c. tomatoes, scald, peeled, and put in blender
4-6 oz. tomato paste
2 c. water
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. oregano
2 bay leaves

Cook onion and garlic in oil until tender but not brown. Cool and put in blender. Add onion and garlic mixture and all the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes. Remove bay leaves. Fill clean jars and seal. Process in canner about 15 minutes.
