CHOCOLATE CHIP, PECAN, OATMEAL
COOKIES
 
3/4 c. Crisco
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. water
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. flour (all-purpose)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. quick oats

Large bowl. Mix Crisco, brown sugar and granulated sugar until well blended (add 1 egg and mix). Add vanilla and 1/4 cup water; mix well. Add in chocolate chips and nuts; mix. Mix together flour, salt and soda; add to bowl and mix well. Add 3 cups oats.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cookies will seem soft but will get solid as they cool. Do not over cook! The cookie sheet has to be greased each time, even on non-stick type. Put cookies about 2 inches apart, tablespoon size.
