SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs, separated
1 c. commercial sour cream
3 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add sour cream, flour and soda. Fold in beaten egg whites (stiff, but not dry), lemon extract and vanilla.

Bake in greased, lightly floured tube pan in 325°F oven for 1 1/2 hours or until well done.
