2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. Pepsi Cola
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 beaten eggs
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. buttermilk in which 1 tsp. baking soda is dissolved
1 1/2 c. mini marshmallows

Sift sugar and flour together in a bowl. Bring Pepsi, cocoa and butter to boiling. Remove from the heat and add the flour and sugar mixture and stir. Add the buttermilk with the soda, eggs, and marshmallows. Pour into a well greased 9 x 13 inch pan. The marshmallows will be on the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

FROSTING: Boil 6 tablespoons Pepsi, 3 tablespoons cocoa and 1 stick butter. Remove from the heat and stir in 1 pound of sifted powdered sugar. Add 1 cup chopped walnuts if desired and finally stir in 1 tablespoon vanilla. Spread immediately on cooled cake.
