VEGETABLE SOUP WITH SMOKED
SAUSAGE
 
The smoked sausage adds a wonderful flavor for a new experience in vegetable soup!

1 pkg. skinless smoked sausage links (2 links), cut into bite sized pieces
2 (12 oz. ea.) cans tomato sauce (Hunts)
1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes (do not drain)
1 (15 oz.) can corn, drained)
1 (15 oz.) can sweet peas, drained
1 onion, chopped
cabbage, chopped
potatoes, diced
Creole seasoning, to your liking (Tony's)
salt and pepper, to taste

In large kettle/pan (or Crock-Pot), put potatoes, cabbage, onions and smoked sausage, cover with water and cook until softened.

Add remaining ingredients and simmer to desired temperature.

Note: If you want a thicker soup, mix 2 teaspoons flour with water or milk and add to soup, stir and simmer until well blended.
