My wife and I are big fans of comfort foods.
This recipe ranks close to the top, in our opinion!

Just wonderful with a freah tossed salad and some good crusty french bread.

We like it even more with fresh chopped green onions in lieu of the green pepper. We also like to add a little salt and fresh ground pepper to the pototo slices prior to adding the stir.

Yummy!

Wonderful recipe! I loved it, I used some of our home-grown pork sausage and cream of chicken instead of cream of celery and it was delicious! I also used velveeta cheese instead of cheddar. Thanks! My farmin' men loved it!

Good idea, was very different, but good. I have noticed that the recipe in the makeing of Kielbasa sausage has changed. I have bought this brand for 30 years and I can tell.

Not something to make for company but good on a cold night. Creamy and tasty. I'll admit, when I first saw this recipe I wasn't sure about it but it came out great. The only change I made was adding 1/3 c onion, also some salt and pepper on the potato layers. Great! Hubby liked it too. I will make this again.

Used cream of chicken because I had it on hand, onions instead of pimento and one half package taco seasoning. Even better as leftovers!

Can this casserole be prepared ahead of time & baked hours later?
