CHICKEN VEGETABLE SOUP 
5 lb. cut up chicken
6 c. water
1/2 c. chopped carrots
1/2 c. chopped onions
2 c. cubed potatoes
1/4 c. chopped celery
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Combine chicken, water, onion, salt and pepper. Bring to boil and reduce heat. Simmer covered for 1 1/2 hours. Remove chicken and put aside to cool. Add vegetables to broth and boil until tender. Cube chicken and add to vegetables. Simmer about 8 to 10 minutes. Serves 7 persons.
