SARA'S COCONUT POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
1/2 c. solid Crisco
6 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. coconut flavoring
1 c. milk
1 can coconut

Mix butter and Crisco. Add eggs one at a time. Add other ingredients, beat about 2 minutes with electric mixer. Put into large greased and floured tube pan. Place in cold oven. Turn oven on. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, open oven door. Close back and bake 20 minutes more.
